I'm Roel Garza. My family and close friends call me Sonny.  I was born and raised in Alice,Tx.  I graduated from Alice High School in 1974 and joined the United States Air Force in 1975 and was honorably discharged in 1979.  I have worked as a welder for a fabrication company and reservation sales supervisor for Southwest Airlines. I attended college at San Antonio College and The University of Texas in San Antonio. I attended dental school at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and graduated in 1992.  I moved back to Alice in 1993 and worked as an assocate dentist until 1996.  I have owned and operated my dental practice since 1996.  I have been married to Cindy Moses Garza since 1975, and we have four children, Michael, Jessica , Erica and Darrell. We have one grandson and are expecting a second grandchild in July 2011. I enjoy fishing, hunting, ranching, most sports, reading, traveling, various hobbies such as welding, carpentry, …and spending quality time with friends and family.
