Welcome to our practice! I have been practicing dentistry for the past 28 years and have enjoyed every minute of it! I love the combination of art and science in dentistry. The challenge of providing excellent dentistry and the satisfaction of meeting that challenge make each day different and exciting. Equally, I love the opportunity to develop wonderfully rich relationships with my patients over the many years I’ve been in practice, and enjoy partnering with them to achieve optimal health.
My team and I have created an atmosphere full of laughter where they feel comfortable and know they’re in good hands. We all truly care about each and every person that comes into the office.
Education and Continuing Education
I attended Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 1978, and continued on to the Medical College of Virginia where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1982. 
I take a diverse curriculum …of continuing education in both clinical and business areas. My staff and I keep up to date with the many advances in clinical dentistry in order to provide high-tech treatments and give our patients the high level of customer service they desire. I have always felt that a commitment to continuous education is necessary to fulfill my obligation to provide optimal care for my patients.
Outside the Office
I was born in Monterey, CA, and grew up in Falls Church, VA. My wife, Lindsey, and I live in northern Virginia with our three beautiful daughters, Courtney, Grace, and Megan, as well as our two dogs, Baxter and Figgy. When I’m not in the office I spend a lot of time reading, birding, and attending my girls’ dance recitals and basketball and lacrosse games.
