Dr. Ron D Groves, DDS

Dr.
Ron Groves earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Austin College.
He then attended Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, where
he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, was on the Dean’s
Honor List and a member of the prestigious Odontological Honor Society.
Following three years of private practice in Cosmetic General Dentistry,
Dr. Groves completed his residency in orthodontics at Boston University
in Massachusetts. The attainment of two additional years of advanced
education at Boston University completed the requirements established
by the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental
Association for certification as an Orthodontic Specialist.
Dr. Groves is board eligible through the American Board
of Orthodontics. He is also a member of the Texas Dental Society,
the American Dental Association, the Texas Association of Orthodontists,
the Southwest Society of Orthodontists, and the American Association
of Orthodontists.
Dr. Groves feels that it is …extremely important to
remain in the forefront of technological advancements in the orthodontic
specialty. Therefore, he attends numerous orthodontic education programs
each year and is actively involved in two national orthodontic study
groups.
As a private practice orthodontist and resident of
Southlake, Dr. Groves believes that community involvement is very
important. He is a graduate of Leadership Southlake, and a former
Board Member of the Southlake Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Groves takes
active part in the community by coaching youth sports and teaching
dental health in the schools.
Dr. Groves enjoys working with both children and adults,
helping them achieve beautiful smiles. It is his goal to provide
the highest quality orthodontics in a personal and comfortable atmosphere.

When not in the office, Dr. Groves enjoys spending
family time with his wife Kelly, and their two children, Ashton and
Chandler.
