Ronald P. Hempel, D.M.D.
Dr. Hempel was raised in the bay area.  In 1970, he graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with honors in genetics. He completed his dental school education at Washington University in St. Louis in 1974. In 1971, he joined the Naval Reserve. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Endodontics in 1983 at the Naval Regional Dental Center, San Diego. In 1985, he completed his residency in Endodontics at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Long Beach. He continued his relationship with the Veterns Administraction Center, Fresno as a consultant in Endodontics. He retired from the Naval Reserve as a Captain in 2000. He has published two articles in the International Journal of Endodontics. Lectured in Endodontics. He has practiced in Fresno since 1985. His hobbies include foreign languages, traveling, skiing and involvement with the American College of Heraldry.
