Dr. Harrell is a Mobile native and a graduate of Satsuma High School. He attended Spring Hill College, graduating in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received a commission and entered the U.S. Army, subsequently being accepted into the U.S. Army Special Forces. While serving in an S.F. unit, he became interested in dentistry while working with deployed dentists. This interest prompted him to attend dental school at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 1979. He has received training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry through the University of Alabama, LSU and the Pankey Institute. Dr. Harrell is an active member in …the American Dental Association, Alabama Dental Association and the Mobile District Dental Society.
Dr. Harrell has been married to Lisa for 25 great years. He is blessed with two children: Hayden and MacKenzie. Hayden is currently in the Air Force and Mackenzie is in college. Dr. Harrell also loves all outdoor activities.
