I was referred to this office after being refused treatment for being an uninsured college student in other offices in Savannah. I called about a tooth that had a poorly done root canal in Wichita Falls, Texas and described a hairline crack I found while flossing. The staff were very friendly even on the phone and didn't treat me like an animal because I didn't have health insurance at the time. Dr. Smiley was wonderful! The tooth had a fine crack down the middle and they were able to make molds, take reference photos and did so reassuring me that the results would be nothing less than perfect. The entire staff was very kind and reassured me I would not be treated like I was in Texas. When the permanent crown was placed you could not tell anything had been done and the temporary crown was amazing. The man who sculpted it was a true artist! Dr. Smiley reinforced the tooth to be crowned to make sure I wouldn't have to have a bridge later on. He was not happy with the dentist who did the… original root canal. The original root canal was so painful in Texas I cried in the office during the procedure while that dentist scolded me. That was a scarring experience. Dr. Smiley made sure I felt NOTHING with a local anesthetic and explained what was going on the entire time the procedure was being performed. This office is run by compassionate understanding people who have a passion for what they do! Thank you Dr. Smiley I'm still smiling! Thank you to all the staff members who made me feel so welcome and took away the anxiety of dental procedures. These professionals made a nerve wracking expensive procedure an affordable breeze for a college student. Thank you so much for your help!
