Meet Russel W. Cannon, DDS
Dr. Cannon attended the San Diego State University before earning his DDS degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). After passing the California Board Exam, Dr. Cannon began practicing dentistry in Los Alamitos, honing his surgical and clinical skills. In 1987, he opened his Irvine dental office, where he currently provides comprehensive general and cosmetic dentistry to area residents. With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Cannon understands the value of treating patients like family and looks forward to the opportunity to welcome you to his practice.
Dr. Cannon maintains membership with the Orange County Dental Society (OCDS), the California Dental Association (CDA), and the American Dental Association (ADA). A member of the CDA since 1974, Dr. Cannon regularly attends conventions and associated continuing education courses. Because he’s passionate about staying on the leading-edge of dentistry, Dr. Cannon spends several hours a week …reading the latest dental journals and books, as well as studying photography, occlusion, smile design, porcelain veneers, and dental implants.
With his wife, Debi, who also works in the office, Dr. Cannon has a son in college, Kevin. Dr. Cannon has an intense interest for current events and enjoys reading the newspaper. Other hobbies include baseball (Go Angels!), unwinding with a relaxing walk, and spending time in his garden.
Meet the Team
Kitty Bingham, Office Manager
Kitty has 25 years of experience in the dental field, and she’s been working with Dr. Cannon since 1995. Kitty knows our patients on a personal level, and it’s her pleasure to treat each patient like a member of her family. The atmosphere of mutual trust and caring makes coming to work every day a pleasure for Kitty. She also enjoys the opportunity to grow and learn about the new and exciting advances in dentistry. With Dr. Cannon, there’s never a dull moment!
Married for over 40 years, Kitty has four children and 11 grandchildren. She’s actively involved in her church and serving the community, and Kitty enjoys movies, music, theater, cooking, family, and the beach.
Eva Baha, Registered Dental Assistant
Since 2005, Eva’s been a valued member of our team, and she’s been actively involved in the dental community for over ten years. Eva loves the close family relationships we establish among patients and co-workers. She’s proud to be part of a team that strives to stay up to date with the latest breakthroughs and technology in dentistry. Our clean and comfortable atmosphere puts patients at ease and makes coming to work a pleasure for Eva.
Away from the office, Eva takes full advantage of the beautiful California weather. She enjoys outdoor activities, swimming in the ocean, and traveling to new places.
Debi Cannon, Business Manager
Debi has been Dr. Cannon’s business manager for over 20 years. As a certified dental assistant with training in coronal polishing and licensed in radiography, Debi brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice. Active in the dental field, Debi has also volunteered at the UCLA and USC dental clinics. Treating patients like family and aspiring to deliver the best dentistry possible give Debi a great sense of job satisfaction.
Married to Dr. Cannon for 23 years, they have one son, Kevin, who’s currently in college. Debi has many hobbies and interests, including reading, jewelry making, kayaking, movies, and music. She also volunteers as the core leader for her community bible study.
