Dr. Russell D Clemmons, DDS

AboutDr. Russell Clemmons Dr. Clemmons was born in Athens, Alabama and graduated Valedictorian from his high school. He went on to attend Samford University where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology. While in college, Dr. Clemmons was highly active with campus ministries, summer missions and his fraternity, Sigma Chi. He received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery) degree from the University of Tennessee in Memphis. During dental school, he was awarded honors for his national board exam scores and graduated Cum Laude. Dr. Clemmons is a member of the American Dental Association, member and past Board of Trustees member of the Georgia Dental Association and the Dean Honorary Odontological Society. He has also served as president of the Southeastern District Dental Society and the Savannah Dental Society. He …is a fellow of both the American College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy (international). The doctor has also served on advisory boards for Armstrong Atlantic State University and Savannah Technical College. He is very active in the dental community and often goes to our state capitol to advocate on behalf of his colleagues across the state and for his patients. He has been on several foreign mission trips and enjoys serving as a deacon at Southside Baptist Church. Dr. Clemmons has also been teaching Sunday School to high school students since 1997. Dr. Clemmons is married to his beautiful wife Mandy. They have two children, Anna Kate and Miles. Anna Kate is an Irish Dancer and Miles loves baseball and soccer. Together, his family enjoys traveling, boating, biking and serving God. They certainly appreciate the blessings they have been given and the opportunity to care for such a wonderful group of patients.
