Meet the Staff--Dr. Boyd
Dr. Russell L. Boyd is a native of Carrollton, Georgia, where part of his family still resides. He attended the University of Georgia, receiving a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in 1991, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He then attended dental school at the Medical College of Georgia, receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) in 1995.
After graduation, Dr. Boyd relocated to Richmond, Virginia, and was a civilian contracted dentist at the U.S. Army base, Ft. Lee, during 1995 and 1996. He then worked as an associate dentist for Dr. Sam E. English III in Richmond until 1998. Dr. Boyd returned to his home state of Georgia in June of 1998, and took hold of the reins of his current practice here in north metro Atlanta.
Dr. Boyd is married to another dentist, Dr. Shurlang Yen who practices in Snellville, Georgia. They have one daughter. He enjoys golf, golfing and playing golf. He also enjoys music, everything from the Oak Ridge Boys to the …Metropolitan Opera, and enjoys reading, particularly American history and biography.
