Dr. Diepenbrock attended dental school at The Ohio State University, where he was awarded a Health Profession scholarship sponsored by the United States Air Force. In 2012, Dr. Diepenbrock completed an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA. During his residency, Dr. Diepenbrock’s passion for facial cosmetic surgery flourished and he gained significant experience in facial cosmetic surgery at that time. However, his drive for additional experience drove him to apply for a fellowship in facial cosmetic surgery. He was selected for, and completed, an American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery accredited fellowship at the Institute of Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Murray, UT under the tutelage of the renowned Facial Cosmetic Surgeon, Dr. Brent Kennedy. After completion of his fellowship, Dr. Diepenbrock returned to Travis Air Force Base as an attending surgeon with the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency program. As the only facial cosmetic surgeon in the Air Force, he was responsible for training future oral and maxillofacial surgeons the sub-specialty of facial cosmetic surgery. After only two years as an attending surgeon, he was promoted to the position of Program Director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program. During this time, Dr. Diepenbrock continued to perfect his skills in facial cosmetic surgery. Dr. Diepenbrock is very much a family man.
