Maria (Hygienest) at "Designs for Dental Health" in Hillsborough did such an exceptional job on my teeth cleaning. She not only has such a great knowledge of how important teeth cleaning is, but she explains each phase of the teeth cleaning in simple terms which I can understand. Maria also has such a warm and welcoming personality which made me very comfortable and that is very important when in the dentist's chair. I have been seeing Dr Lunagaria for the past few years and have come to trust him and his judgement. He walked me through the process (more than once) that he was recommending for major work on my upper teeth, including my front teeth. He gave me options and was very patient with my questions as I wanted to fully understand what would be done and when. Such dental work is very expensive. As I usually do when met with high cost expenses, I met with several other dentists to compare process and cost. I saw 3 other dentists. None of them provided me with the information or options that Dr Lunagaria did. I felt as through they were "implant factories" looking for business. Each of the 3 were less expensive but I would not consider having the work done by them as my assessment of their professional, integrity and practice management came o where near Dr Lunagaria. They barely listened to what it was I wanted from this work. They were just ready to do implants and crowns. Dr… Lunagaria has a very thorough process of walking a patient through each of the steps and the options of having the work done including timelines. I have just completed phase 1 of a 3 phase plan (the longest and most invasive part of the plan) and cannot express how satisfied I am with the outcome. Dr Lunagaria brought in an anesthesiologist to give me IV medication so I would not be aware of the extractions and revision work taking place. I left the office with absolutely no bleeding and no pain. I had facial swelling and bruising, which I was prepared for in advance) but never experienced any bleeding or pain. The temporary crowns are unbelievably good; they are both attractive and secure. When the technician came in to meet with me, she walked through what it was about my smile I wanted to improve and was very detailed with me. She offered her opinion and advised me. Both the technician and Dr Lunagaria delivered exactly what I expected. Dr Lunagaria does routine dental work and I have always been satisfied however, If you are considering any type of dental work involving crowns or implants or cosmetics, I would highly recommend you see him and discuss your situation. If nothing else, you will get a second opinion from a professional with integrity in a very well run office.
