He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oro-Facial Pain and a Fellow of the American Academy of Oro-Facial Pain as well as a Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International. He is also a former clinical instructor in the Temporo-Mandibular Joint/Oro-Facial Pain Clinic at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He has lectured to both national and international audiences on implant-related topics, temporo-mandibular joint/oro-facial pain disorders as well as morphologic/imaging issues in clinical decision-making. He is a published author. He is a member of the International and American Associations for Dental Research, the American Headache Society as well as a number of professional dental organizations.Â
