Samantha Vitagliano, DMD
A native of Upstate New York, Dr. Vitagliano earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania.  She then came to the Rochester area to pursue a post-graduate residency in general dentistry at The Genesee Hospital.  Dr. Vitagliano remained on the staff at TGH upon completion of her advanced training, serving a wide variety of patients with complex medical conditions and other special needs, as well as teaching in the residency program.  
Dr. Vitagliano joined Perinton Dental Group in 1995.  As she dedicated more time to patient care at the practice, she maintained her connections with hospital dentistry and dental resident education through volunteering at TGH and Rochester General Hospital.  The flexibility of the group practice allowed her the opportunity to serve as the director of the dental residency program at RGH for five years.  Since becoming an owner/partner at Perinton Dental Group, Dr. V has decreased her …hospital responsibilities, but continues to volunteer at RGH, particularly enjoying her involvement in an interdisciplinary team providing comprehensive care to patients with bleeding disorders.
Dr. V. is an active member of many professional associations, including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Association of Hospital Dentists, and the Special Care Dentistry Association.  She currently serves on the Board of Directors of the AAHD.  Dr. Vitagliano is committed to life-long learning, always seeking knowledge and skills to better serve her patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Vitagliano enjoys music, cooking, travel, and spending time with her family at their home in Victor.
