Dr. Sanford Buch

Wish I'd read reviews first. Agree 100% with poster who called Dr. Sanford Buch , DDS in Kingston a Frankenstein Monster. I needed a top wisdom tooth extracted. Dr. Buchs proceeded to inject me with Novocaine. My nose, side of my right eye, tongue, and lower jaw felt numb, but I could still feel the area around my wisdom teeth. I told him this – and he yelled at me saying that if I wasn’t numb after more novocaine he couldn’t operate. Like it was my fault it wasn’t working! He immediately began drilling after injecting second round of Novocaine. The surface of my gums felt tingly – but not numb. As he drilled into my gums, I felt excruciating pain and screamed. That’s when he lost it calling me an F*ing liar and telling me there was no possible way that I felt anything. I cursed back, in crazy pain. He left me bleeding and walked out. The assistants were lovely ladies – they gave me gauze. Sanford Bush DDS is a monster and I don’t know how he’s practicing. My appointment was at… 130 – and now it’s 5:15 pm – my tongue is swollen and numb, as is part of my nose. But the top gums and wisdom tooth area are throbbing and still bleeding. I can taste a burnt taste in my mouth – as he’d already started to drill on the tooth. Avoid this butcher. I suspect the only reason he hasn’t been charged with malpractice is because his patients can afford to sue him.

He caused nerve damage to my face during a wisdom tooth extraction, and showed total disregard. Stay away, you will get hurt.

The knowledge Dr. Buch has is a great thing in this world today. I have a variety of problems with my teeth that are causing me to prepare for complete dentures. I have been literally butchered by 3 dentists in the past 5 years. Today I saw Dr. Buch for the first time. He removed my last 2 molars and it was incredible! His technique was obvious right away. It was fast but yet as comfortable as it could be. Even now it's only been 6 hours since I was in his chair and I have no pain at all, just a slight soreness that would be expected. If you find yourself needing an oral surgeon, I highly recommend Dr.Buch!

Dr. Buch is an excellent, experienced oral surgeon. I saw him yesterday for a tooth extraction - he was quick, kind and knew exactly what he was doing. No fuss. I am quickly recovering from this procedure, which I attribute fully to Dr. Buch. I would most certainly recommend him to others.
