Dr. Sanford M Franklin

Dr. Sanford Franklin DDS
Dr. Franklin attended Walnut Hills High School, University of Cincinnati, and Ohio State College of Dentistry, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1962. From 1962 to 1964 he was a dentist in the US Navy in Great Lakes, Illinois. He began private practice in Pleasant Ridge in 1964 and has been practicing there for over 36 years. He was President of the Cincinnati Dental Society in 1989 and President of the Ohio Dental Association in 1997. Dr. Franklin has been elected to the following honoraries: Omicron Kappa Upsilon, Pierre Fauchard Academy, and International College of Dentists. He is married to Toby Franklin and they are parents of 2 grown children. 
Dr. Richard Plotnick DDS 
Dr. Plotnick grew up in Cincinnati and attended Xavier University for undergraduate studies and the University of Cincinnati for graduate school.
He graduated from Case Western University Dental School and has practiced dentistry in our Pleasant Ridge office since 1977. 
Dr. Michael …Carl DDS  
Dr. Carl is a graduate of Ohio State Dental School and did a 1-year general practice residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital of Cleveland, Ohio. He has practiced dentistry in our Pleasant Ridge office since 1985. He is active in the Cincinnati Dental Society and the Ohio Dental Association. He and his wife Kathy have 2 children, Kelly and Ryan.
Office Personnel: 
Etta has been with our office since 1980, serving various positions from front desk to fill-in assistant. Etta and her husband Greg have 2 sons and a grandchild on the way! She is very excited about her first grandchild, and is a wonderful asset to our company.
Billie has been with our office since 1984. She is a 1984 graduate of Scarlet Oaks Dental Assistant Program. Her start was with Dr. Franklin as his assistant before moving to the front desk, where she has been since 1992. Billie has 2 sons, Brandon and Joey. She is currently employed as head financial and insurance coordinator.
Jessica is the newest edition to our family. She does secretarial work around our office as well as greets patients, making them feel comfortable from the moment they walk in the door. She has a beautiful son, Johnathon, born 2004, who is the light of her life. We are glad to have her working on our staff.
Micki has been with our office since 2003. She is currently an assistant in our financial/insurance department. She is a proud grandmother of 7 grandchildren.
Hygiene Department:
Heather is a 1996 graduate of Raymond Walters College. She has been with our office since graduation. Heather and her husband Trent have 2 children, Courtney and Zachary.
Wendy is a 1993 graduate of Raymond Walters College and has been part of our team since 1997. Wendy and her husband Chad have 5 children: Jamie, Bethany, Jonah, Tannen, and Trinity, along with her cherished dog, Chloe.
Caryn Davis - Caryn joined our hygiene dept. in April 2010.  She is a graduate of Raymond Walters hygiene program, 2009. Her caring and dedicated nature has been an asset to our office.
Dental Assistants:
Christol is a 1990 graduate of IMDT (Institute of Medical/Dental Training). She brought 10 years experience as a dental assistant, and has been Dr. Franklin's assistant since 1998. Her kindness has been a great asset to our office. Her family includes her daughter Courtney. She will be completing her training at Sinclair Comm. College as an Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary (EFDA).
Michelle is a 1994 graduate of IMDT. She has worked as Dr. Carl's assistant since 1995. Her compassionate nature is of great value to our office. She will be completing the Expanded Functions dental program.
Heather Lawson - Heather has been with our office since 2009.  Her and her husband have a black lab named Murphy.  She loves her job and making people feel good about themselves. She wants everyone to leave the office with a smile on their face. She is a dental assistant and also works at the front desk.
Kelley Adams - Kelley has been with our office since 2008.  She is a dental assistant and also works at the front desk.  She is currently taking c
