Dr. Savitha Krishnamoorthy

Dr. Savitha Krishnamoorthy ("Dr. Kris") received her DMD degree from  Boston University, graduating with high honors. She served as an associate dentist practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in various dental offices in Northern Virginia. Additionally, Dr. Kris holds MDS (Oral & Maxillo-facial surgery) and BDS degrees from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, the number one Dental college in India*. She was a Maxillo-facial surgeon and assistant professor in Yenopoya Dental College and Hospital in Mangalore, India.
After fifteen years of extensive and varied experience in the dental field, her passion for restoring beautiful healthy smiles has grown stronger. She has started her own dental practice in the South Riding community of Chantilly, VA. Her clinic, Tooth Fairy Family & Cosmetic dentistry is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for various dental procedures, implants, and bone grafting.
Dr. Kris stood first in her class at Boston University and was placed in Dean's …list in all semesters. Throughout her training in India, she received numerous awards, honors and medals including T.M.A Pai Gold Medal and Sunder. J. Vazirani Gold Medal, Prithvi Rawal award by International College of Dentists for Prosthodontics, Karnataka state award for Oral & Maxillofacial surgery and S.R. Prabhu prize for standing first in BDS degree examination.
Dr. Kris is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA) and her practice is ADA compliant. She is also an active member of Virginia Dental Association (VDA) and Northern Virginia Dental Association (NVDA). Upon graduation from Boston University, she was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Kris lives with her husband and son in South Riding community of Chantilly, VA, just a five minute drive away from the clinic. She enjoys gardening, vegetarian cooking and interior decoration during her free time.
