Dr. Scott Thomas Bedichek, DDS

I had a very major procedure done by Dr. Bedicheck this week after going to him for several exams and consultations. I must say I have never met a more professional, kind, caring and compassionate man than this and he sets the example for his staff to follow. From the very first person at check-in, to the medical assistants in the exam and procedure rooms, to the very last one who walked me back out-each and every time I was treated in such a kind and caring manner. The staff stayed on top of everything that was needed and made sure I was comfortable with every aspect of my visits. The day of my procedure Dr. Bedichek came in, sat down and spent as much time as it took to make sure all of my questions were answered and any concerns were addressed before we started. All my medications were called in and ready to pick up and he personally called me that evening to make sure I was doing ok and see if I had any questions or concerns. This is a Doctor and Staff that I could highly… recommend with out reservation. I thank all of them for making a very difficult time for me not difficult at all!

Patients need adequate pain management after bone grafting and sinus surgery. When you have an emergency and call the dentist on call, he doesn’t even answer. But when he does call you back and you tell him you are in complete agony, crying and pacing around the room because you can’t sit still because the pain is unbearable, he doesn’t show any concern. When you need immediate relief, you should be able to trust your dentist will remedy the situation. Instead, you just have to go to the freaking emergency room for some sort of relief. This all could have been avoided if he just did his job, listen to his patients and prescribed reasonable pain relief.

My son had a procedure done with Dr. Bedicek. His office personal and the overall experience was good. However, approximately 6 months after the procedure was done, we received a bill from pathology for over $200.00. The staff never checked to see if our insurance would cover the pathology and sent it to the pathologist without checking insurance covereage. Now we are stuck with having to pay for a cost that was never discussed with us. All we were told was that this was the best pathologist in the area and that was who Dr. Bedicek chose to use. When we asked Dr. Bedicek and his staff to write an appeal to our insurance company, we were told they would write the appeal. To date, 6 months later, nothing has been done. We are now being told we are being turned over to collections and have been forced to pay the bill. It is good practice in any physician's practice, to look out for the patient and make sure they have a clear understanding of any possible expenses. This office… fell very short in compassion for their patient!
