Dr. Scott David Shwedel

Dr. Shwedel Dr. Steven Shwedel graduated from Emory University in Atlanta, GA in 1972, and has been practicing in Taylor for over 30 years. He is well known in the Taylor area for the quality of his dental work and the superb service he and his staff provide to all patients. Since he began practicing dentistry, Dr. Shwedel has kept up to date by taking many continuing education classes every year, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive dental care. He is committed to offering patients the most advanced techniques and best materials in dentistry. The office is equipped with state of the art technology set in a warm, friendly, relaxed environment. Dr. Shwedel graduated from Emory University School of Dentistry. Afterwards, he completed a General Practice Residency in Advanced Dental Techniques at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. Dr. Shwedel and his wife Joyce have three children. Dr. Shwedel enjoys traveling and scuba diving. Many of his diving trips are family affairs with his children joining him. His office showcases photos of the sea life he has encountered on his dives. Truly a sight worth seeing. Dr. Shwedel is very involved in the Taylor Community. He participates in local Health Fairs, the Family Enrichment Fair with the Taylor Schools, Turn Off the Violence with the Taylor Rotary and Fishes and Loaves (a community food pantry). On Saturday September 24, 2011, Dr. Shwedel will be hosting the 3rd annual "Dentistry from the Heart." It will be an event offering free dentistry to anyone in need. Dr. Shwedel is Lumineer Certified.
