Dr. Scott Beck
I grew up in Hastings Nebraska and attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln where I worked at the college of dentistry part time. My family drew me to dentistry. My grandfather and great-grandfather were dentists in central Nebraska. I was accepted into the University of Nebraska’s college of dentistry. I received a Regent’s scholarship during dental school for academics, graduating at the top of my class.
I have been practicing general dentistry for 10 years and am proud to say that much of my staff has been with me over many years. I have a beautiful and supportive wife, Heather, and together we have the joy of our lives, Natalie and Silas. My wife and I enjoy hiking and biking in the wildcat hills and in the mountains of Colorado. Our church and our faith is a big part of our lives.
I spend many hours every year on my dental education, attending meetings and hands-on courses to better the services that we offer.
Marlene Walker
My name is Marlene Walker, I …am Dr. Beck’s assistant. I was raised in North Dakota. My husband and I came through here in 1986 on our way south, I fell in love with the valley and we never left. So, 22 years later our sons are 15 and 13, and I still love this valley.
I have been a dental assistant since 2000. I am one of the lucky ones in this world, I love my job, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Dr. Beck is a great dentist and a truly nice person, that means a lot to his patients and his staff.
In my spare time, I try to keep up with my very active family and get to the YMCA whenever I can. I believe that we all make choices in our lives, I choose to be happy and I hope that you do, too. Have a great day.

Jacqueline Woods
I have enjoyed working for Dr. Beck since April 2003. My husband and I moved to Scottsbluff in 2002. We are originally from Mississippi, but spent about nine years in Fort Collins, CO before moving here.
I work part time, sharing my responsibilities with Briana. On the days I am not in the office I spend my time in a volunteer ministry work, helping others in the community learn more about the Bible. In my free time I enjoy photography, cooking, and tennis.
I began working in the dental field in 1996. Since that time, I’ve enjoyed additional training through the Shuster Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, AZ, the Dale Carnegie Immersion Seminar, as well as other classes for training and development of skills.

I have been with Dr. Beck’s office since April 2003 and enjoy working with his patients by helping them answer questions about appointments, insurance and payment arrangements. I started in the dental field at a pediatric dental office in Fort Collins and my training includes Schuster Dental Practice Management in Scottsdale, AZ; Dale Carnegie Business and several dental conventions at Denver Midwinter. I was born in Lincoln, NE and grew up in Windsor, Colorado where I graduated from high school and received a degree in Graphic Arts.
