Dr. Seung K Shon

I had a 2 crowns by Dr. Shon and a root canal. The root canal was a nightmare and lasted for hours. The pressure and pain was unbearable. He cited "calcified root canals." I couldn't even open my mouth for days after. The pain persisted weeks afterward. When I called the office Dr. Shon said it should die down. It did but I had a bad feeling about the entire experience. My new dentist warned me that both crowns were too thin. One cracked and came off a year later- $950 to replace. Last week I began having terrible pain in the tooth that had the root canal (now 3-4 years later). Went to an endodontist who took xrays and found a "serious infection" in the tooth Dr. Shon had root canaled. He missed a root which became infected, the infection had blood and puss and spread to my bone. Excruciatingly painful and another $1600 to fix. I'm furious I wasted over $2500 getting work done by Dr. Shon that led to even greater pain and another $2500. It's a shame I can't sue him. I was… literally robbed and worse off that before I saw him. He is a TERRIBLE dentist/endodontist and shouldn't be licensed.
