Dr. Shaheda Gene Marie Govani

About Dr. Govani
Govani Dental is led by Dr. Shaheda Govani, DDS. Dr. Govani is a dentist devoted to oral health and dedicated to patient care and comfort. It is her vision to provide excellence in dental oral health to patients throughout the Oshkosh community, by practicing to the highest standards of care in a welcoming, safe atmosphere.
Dr. Govani received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Marquette University School of Dentistry, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She is actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Wisconsin Dental Association, the Winnebago County Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Chicago Dental Society.
Born and raised in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Dr. Govani recently returned to the community and is thrilled to be serving friends and family members, as well as new patients in the area.
Her dedication to patient health …and education hardly ends there. Community involvement and volunteerism have always played a large role in Dr. Govani’s life, too. When she’s not at the practice, you’re likely to find her lending a hand to other organizations. Dr. Govani is an involved member of the Oshkosh Downtown Rotary, Propel Oshkosh and the Oshkosh Chamber of Commerce. She is also a sponsor of the Otter Street Fishing Club and looks forward to volunteering at future events.
In her free time, Dr. Govani enjoys staying active by going to the YMCA and biking with her husband Neil. She also really likes reading, watching movies and trying new places for dinner. Most recently, Dr. Govani and her husband have started to remodel their old house and are looking forward to the challenges the project brings.
