Dr. Shahin Dabestani

Please don't let the good reviews fool you! I'm absolutely furious with Shahin Dabestani! I wouldn't recommend this dentistry to my worst enemy! Here's why: Reason #1: My husband had a permanent crown placed on his back molar by this dentist, and a few months later the crown literally popped right off his tooth! He went in to have the crown put back on, and the dentist told us the crown "no longer fit" and he wanted us to pay out-of-pocket to have a have a brand new crown put in place. If the crown was PERMANENT it shouldn't have fallen off in the first place, therefore Shahin should've replaced it WITHOUT COST! Now my husband's tooth is rotting as we speak and we can't afford to have it fixed right now.. Reason #2: I cracked my tooth while I was eating and I was in a lot of pain. I went in hoping to get it fixed and I explained exactly what happened to the dentist and his assistant. Despite the fact they knew I was in pain, they took one quick look at the tooth and assumed… it was only the filling within the tooth that was cracked- not the tooth itself. So, they proceeded to do give me multiple shots and fillings on the opposite side of my mouth! I couldn't sit through the dental work he attempted to finish, which then made him realize my tooth WAS completely cracked completely in half, like I originally tried to explain him. This lead to more shots and a tooth extraction! The best part is he sent me home in EXCRUCIATING pain from the tooth extraction and fillings on the other side of my mouth, with NO PAIN MEDICATION! I had to return to his office the very next day for pain meds because I just couldn't handle it.. What type of person does that to someone?! I left his office in tears!!
