Dr. Shana was raised in the Washington, D.C. area. She attended the University of Richmond where she graduated with  honors with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Emory University School of Dentistry in 1986. After teaching at Perimeter College and practicing in Buford, Georgia and Nashville, Tennessee, she settled back in Alpharetta and has been a member of our practice since 1996. She has been married to her college sweetheart since 1982 and has three daughters. She is a member of the Georgia Dental Association and American Dental Association.
