Dr. Lewis received her Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University. She attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1999. She performed her general practice residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois for a year and then practiced as a general dentist in a private practice for two years. Dr. Lewis continued her education and received her Master of Science and her certificate in orthodontics from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2004. She practiced as a private practice orthodontist in Richmond, Virginia for a year before moving back home to Oklahoma.
Dr. Lewis presented her article “Overbite Correction and Smile Esthetics†in Seminars in Orthodontics, a journal for orthodontics. In addition, she is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Medical College of …Virginia Research and Education Foundation.
Dr. Lewis is happily married to Dave Lewis. They are both from Edmond, Oklahoma, and they have two daughters and one son. In her free time, she enjoys running, traveling, golfing, cooking and staying involved in her local church.
