Dr. Shaun Janvier, D.M.D. is passionate about dentistry and feels very fortunate to practice in the lovely state of Maine. He takes great pride in building doctor-patient relationships based on trust, respect and genuine concern for each patient’s personal well-being and overall health. Dr. Janvier appreciates the responsibility that comes along with treating the oral health needs of patients from York County and beyond, and feels that the most rewarding aspect of his career in dentistry involves the relationships formed with each patient and family member.
Dr. Janvier graduated magna cum laude from the University of Massachusetts with a Bachelor of Science degree in honors biology and a minor in business management. He then received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Maine Dental Association, York County Dental Society, …and the Sanford-Springvale Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Casco Bay Study Club, a local chapter of the national Seattle Study Club which focuses on the advanced treatment planning of complex dental cases. Dr. Janvier attends many continuing education classes throughout the year in order to provide the highest level of care to his patients.
Dr. Janvier practiced family and cosmetic dentistry in North Andover, Massachusetts prior to relocating to Maine, upon which he took ownership of a dental practice with more than a 50-year history of serving the community. He chose to relocate to Maine because of the quality of life that the state offers as well as to assist with the shortage of dental providers in the area. Dr. Janvier is an avid fisherman and enjoys spending time in the outdoors. A true New Englander, each season holds a special place in Dr. Janvier's heart.
