Dr. Sohail Saghezchi graduated salutatorian (#2 in the class) with highest honors from the University of the Pacific, School of Dentistry, in 2002. He was inducted into all three National Honor Societies and received numerous awards and scholarships, including the Quintessence Research Achievement Award, the American Association of Oral Biologist Award, the Herbert K. Yee Award and the National Dean's List Award for scholastic achievements.
He was also extensively involved in research projects for oral cancer, in which he competed and won several local and national awards and published his results in the Gene Therapy and Molecular Biology Journal in 2004. Upon graduation, Dr. Saghezchi joined his father's dental practice in Santa Clara, CA. Working side by side with his father, he rapidly gained valuable experience in General and Cosmetic Dentistry. After 3 years of private practice, he completed a six-month Oral Surgery internship at UCSF Medical/Children's …Center and San Francisco General Hospital to advance his training and knowledge in surgery.
Today, Dr Sohail Saghezchi practices full time in Santa Clara Family Dental. He takes great pride in providing high-quality, comprehensive dental care for all his patients. Because of his experience and training, he practices the full scope of General Dentistry, including root canals, crowns and bridges, oral surgical cases including wisdom teeth removal, surgical placement and restoration of dental implants, Invisalign and wide range of cosmetic cases.
