Dr. Sohee Kim Park, DDS

Dr. Sohee Park is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Duke University. Upon earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, she completed a one year residency in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the State University of New York. She completed her academic career with a three year residency in periodontics and dental implantology, receiving extensive training in bone grafting, sinus lifts and ridge augmentation, including onlay cortical block grafting. She earned her postgraduate degree in Periodontics and her Masters of Health Sciences degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Park is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a Recognized Specialty of the American Dental Association. She is also a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Southern Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, the American Dental …Society of Anesthesiology, the S.C. Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the South Carolina Dental Association, the Central District Dental Society, the Greater Columbia Dental Association, the Dental Diva Study Club, and the Mid-Carolina Study Club. Dr. Park is happily married to her husband, Won. They have two children. They enjoy spending time with their family and friends, fellowship with their church, playing music, cooking, running, hiking, and outdoor activites.
