Dr. Stephanie Suzanne Saide Karlin, DDS

I have been a patient of Dr. Karlin at Dakota Ridge Dental for approximately 10 years. Over the years I have had several crowns fail and decay was present in less than 2 years on one, and less then 6 on at least one other. Therefore, insurance would not cover the cost to repair the tooth since it was less than 10 years old. So, I had to pay out of pocket for the costs. I just returned to find out another crown that they worked out has also failed and has decay under the crown. During my visit I asked to speak with Dr. Karlin. I was waiting for her call, and she never called to discuss why these crowns keep failing in less than 10 years. She never responded, and now I received a letter that she is discontining care. I had already decided that I would not return as I did not want to continue care under her and keep having issues with her dental work. But, since my insurance will not pay for the crown that she just worked on 2 years ago, I will have to seek a legal case against… her for reimbursement which just takes away from my personal time. It think it is comical that when you want to speak to a doctor about her dental work, she just decides it’s not worth discussing her poor dental work with her patient. The last crown that they worked on took about 3-4 hours. My wife even drove up to the dentist because she was concerned that something happeneded. I was not happy! Buyer beware! Enjoy your decay.
