Dr. Stephen A Genna

I can not express my gratitude for Dr. Stephen Genna his chair side manner and gentle touch put me immediately at ease. He truly is phenomenal dealing with difficult extractions and the best was seeing my mouth complete after he placed an implant. Thank You so much for educating me about everything being done and being so gentle and attentive.

He was knowledgeable and professional. Thank you!

Dr Genna is such a great dentist

Neither a good nor responsible dentist. Drill, fill and move on. Will not accept responsibility for problems he created. A friend told me the same when we compared notes.

If I could give Dr. Genna zero stars I would! Worst dentist! I am still in pain and now have to have FOUR teeth that he worked on fixed by another professional! Such a waste of time and money!

Dr. Genna was extremely patient with me as I am a very difficult patient who hates dentists. I recently had a major infection and needed the initial clean up plus follow up work and he took care of it all. I don't know how I would have made it though the whole experience with another dentist. I suffer from anxiety attacks at the dentist but he was good at calming me down and making things seem easy. I'm extremely disappointed he is no longer at the practice after all these years and thinking about whether I should remain a patient there.

Dr. Genner applied veneer to six of my front teeth. He mistakenly bonded two teeth so there was no space, not even for floss. He used everything except a blow torch it seemed to make a separation. One week later the tooth and veneer just broke off in pieces. At my return he offered no apology, excuse but instead blamed me for getting hit in the mouth!!!!! He had to do a crown because the tooth was no longer there. $4,000. and I am not happy with the look now that the crown does not match the 5 veneers. Also I see the two front teeth are slightly crooked. I undeerstand he is no longer at that office so hopefully he is far, far away.

My first visit with this dentist was a nightmare. I told him repeatedly that my cap was loose and causing pain. I could feel it, he brushed it off, moved my tooth and said, "it's fine". Well, a few days later, the cap broke off, and upon my next visit with Dr. Roger, was told the tooth needed to be pulled! I was so annoyed and upset and tried to tell Dr. Roger, that I had told Dr. Genna about this, but he brushed it off too...They are probably the worst dental office I've ever been to.

I just recently lost my job and my fairly decent dental insurance and i'm on medicaid now and this doctor was referred to me by the insurance company Healthplex. I was very put off by Dr. Genna because all he did was look at the x rays and tell me what needed to be done with the tooth in question. He didn't even examine my mouth or LOOK at anything but the one molar on my first visit with him. iI returned because my tooth had broken and on this visit (second) visit I had to literally ask him to look in my mouth and he reluctantly did so. I have been to a couple of dentist in my life and never had one that seemed to care less. How do you not look in the patients mouth for sores, infection etc. An x ray is not a complete initial examination for a new patient!!I can't help but feel that this is because I have a low paying insurance which saddens me because I think a good person (dentist in this case) should give each patient the same right to knowledge and care.
