Dr. Steven D Blonder

I wouldn’t even call him a doctor because professionals don’t curse or raise their voices at customers. He called me a jacka** to my boyfriend because I said if I don’t hear back I’m going to the office myself then. Apparently he took that as threat. Lol it was a statement saying I’ll go there because obviously waiting around for three weeks and never getting a call back wasn’t doing anything for my boyfriend who is a busy plumber and in pain. Didn’t know he’s scared of a 5”2 young girl. Ha ha. They don’t care about you. And the fact he always tells customers to go somewhere else just shows he’s a lousy “Doctor” and should be out of business for his horrible bedside manners. If you read the negative views it’s all very similar and the fact he tries to defend himself in the most unseemly manner using caps sometimes just shows his immaturity and again, unprofessionalism.

Steven Blonder and his associates are unfit for their calling. Do yourself a huge favor and find another Endodontic provider. I waited 5 weeks for an appointment. My face was swollen like a balloon and I was in extreme pain. I called every few days pleading for an appointment and they refused to make any accomodation. Finally, I just went to the office so they could see my situation and their response was..."ok you have an appointment a week from today just come back then". Without raising my voice I emphatically told the receptionist that I could not make it another week (I had not been able to sleep the night before because of the extreem pain). Magically, a cancelation opened up if I could wait 2 hours. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes when one of the good Doctors associates came to me and told me that Doctor Blonder refused to treat me because he didn't like the way I had spoke to the receptionist!

Dr. Blonder is outstanding! His office personnel the same! They were very quick to get me in for an appointment and very professional the entire visit. With his decades of experience, and it shows, he did an outstanding job once again on my very difficult root canal. With novacaine administered, I never even felt a pinch from the needle any of the times. He is very professional and well versed in all aspects of dentistry. I highly recommend him! Give him and his office a chance an you will see for yourself!

I booked an appointment with the doctor because I was in pain and he had the first open appointment. I wish i did more research. His bedside manner was .... lacking. Additionally he could not do any work on me because after he got me a little numb, when he tried to get me more numb he kept making me gag. Instead of trying to go in from a different angle, or numbing a different area, or even waiting a minute for the shot he gave me to start working, he kept trying to do the same thing over and over again and getting visibly frustrated every time he made me gag. When I couldn't keep from gagging he helpful explained that it is the tongue that makes you gag not your cheek, and that he doesn't understand why I am gagging. He then recommended that I should see someone that could put me under fully for a root canal. I have unfortunately had a fair amount of dental work in my day, root canals, cavities, crowns etc and never once had a doctor only be able to partially numb me and then… make me gag over and over. And I have never experienced any dental professionals that got visibly frustrated with a patient because the doctor didn't have the deftness of hands to avoid a gag reflex in the dozen or so times he tried. It was very unprofessional and quite frankly a little scary to watch him get more and more frustrated. Thankfully I have an appoint with someone who appears to be a much better rated and hopefully more professional endo on Wednesday. I would recommend that if there is anybody else that takes your insurance use them.

I didn't see the other reviews until after my visit but I didn't have the same experience as the other posters. It was my first root canal and he was very professional. I was expecting the worst, but the whole thing was painless! PPE was worn the entire time by his staff and he, would definitely recommend.

Nasty ?? rude and place makes your skin crawl! I pray I am ok ! I should not have gone in after being screamed at by the receptionist! I needed to have root canal completed only ones with machine in insurance ! They should not been in existence ! Stay away !! Better off paying full price ! I am so cautious and regret getting in car to go there , but when o saw office I should have run out ! Should be zero stars

Dr. Blonder does not take COVID-19 seriously. I asked him what extra precautions he was taking and to each specific question I asked, he replied "nope" - nothing else. He didn't volunteer any information until, after I had asked several questions, he said that he considered coronavirus like any other flu. He was rude and dismissive. I left.

CALLED TO FOLLOW UP AND SET UP AN APPOINTMENT AND HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. TERRI IS SO RUDE, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND INCOMPETENT WHY IS HE STILL IN BUSINESS. YOU SHOULD BE PROFESSIONAL AND KNOW HOW TO SPEAK WITH PATIENTS!!

incompetent front desk, will not let you get a word in edgewise, Dr. blonder has anger issues...very rude...will scream at you to stop calling if you request information that they are too lazy or incompetent to provide. had claim denied because office did not properly read submission requirements properly and sent incorrect x-rays TWICE to insurance company. Never again, and you shouldn't either. It's time for Mister Blonder to retire, and for the receptionist to take a xanax or something. That is one high strung front desk.
