I love creating a brighter future for my patients, one smile at a time. I appreciate every patient as if they were my only one, and I strive to give them a positive orthodontic experience to remember for the rest of their lives.
Education and Experience
After receiving my Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, I served in the US Air Force in the areas of general dentistry, oral surgery, prosthetics, periodontics, and anesthesiology. Soon after receiving my Certificate in Orthodontics from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, I moved to Bradenton to open my practice. I have been honored as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and am constantly striving to improve the lives of the people around me.
I have held many leadership roles in numerous orthodontic organizations, most recently as President of the Southern Association of Orthodontists, a regional chapter of the American Association of …Orthodontists. I have also served as the President of the Florida Association of Orthodontists and received their Distinguished Service Award.
I am also active in the dental community as a Chair of the National Children’s Dental Health Month, past President of the Manatee Dental Society, and am a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, and the West Coast Dental Association.
In the Community
I have been active in many aspects of the Bradenton community over the years. I was a major catalyst for the fluoridation in the Bradenton and Manatee County water supply through the Fight for Fluoride. I have served on the boards of the local chapters of the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, the United Way, and the American Red Cross.
I am involved with the Kiwanis Foundation, am a Cub Scout leader, coached Little League, and am a Sunday School teacher for Christ Episcopal Church.
