Dr. Susan J Jarakian

Dr. Susan Jarakian is a pediatric dentist who strives to provide quality dental care in a nurturing child-friendly environment. She is proud to have established her practice in the community where she grew up. She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry. She continued her education at BostonUniversity's Goldman School of Dental Medicine where she completed her pediatric residency. After completing her specialization, she returned to the San Fernando Valley where she has been practicing pediatric dentistry for several years.  Dr. Jarakian is among a small group of practicing dentists who have completed their specialty in pediatric dentistry.
Dr. Jarakian serves as a Pediatric Dentist on the staff of Northridge Hospital Medical Center.  She also reaches out to the community by conducting dental education workshops to children and teachers in schools.   Dedicated to the …oral health of children, she has led numerous dental missions in Southern California and Massachusetts (pictured to the left and right) as well as Belize (pictured below) and Armenia.
Dr. Jarakian cares about her community as well as the natural environment.  To reduce reliance on paper, her eco-friendly office utilizes the most advanced computer technology.  Significantly, her state-of-the-art digital x-ray system greatly minimizes radiation exposure and completely eliminates the use of harmful chemical processors.
