Dr. Tassos S Katechis

I called the office on belhalf of my relative and was spoken extremely rudely by an associate, Jennifer. I was so taken back by the way she was speaking to me, I then asked to speak to Dr. Tassos Katechis to gain further clarity and to report this poor behavior that left me very very upset. I heard the doctor, who was right next to her, say, "I have no time for that" - inhumane! Jennifer repeated what the doctor had said and abruptly hung up the phone on me. THIS OFFICE DOES NOT SERVE YOU. THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.

They will go out of their way to cancel your appointment that you booked months in advance only to screw with you and not offer anything alternate

Dr. Katechis is wonderful! I have had major work done in his office. His work has been impeccable, and the results, amazing. The office is welcoming; the staff is friendly and helpful, with a special shout-out to Uri (probably not correctly spelled). I highly recommend this dentist!

I would not recommend going to this dentist office and seeing any of the dentists that work there. I've had some old fillings replaced and my teeth hurt more now than they ever did. It's been months and my bite doesn't feel the same, even after going back a few times. I don't feel that the dental work is good. I had a filling done and they used a darker color filling and it popped out not even 2 weeks after getting it done. Just say no, and go somewhere where they know how to do dental work properly.

Had two amazing cleanings ..staff was pleasant and office was very clean. But Dr Tassos has done 4 small fillings. I was uncomfortable and found him to be uncommunicative. He just kept drilling and never explained what filling material would be used....Used 2 different filling material colors on the face of my teeth once I questioned color. Only for 2 days later all my fillings fell OUT!!! Now I'm in pain. Loved the hygienist but will not be returning.

Had a terrible experience with this dentist and his office. I was asking dentist questions about the treatment he was suggesting and mid conversation he left the room and left the hygienist to answer my questions. I did not feel comfortable with his diagnosis and went to another dentist who said his treatment plan was over aggressive and a lot unnecessary. When requesting my records to be released the office gave me the hardest time, Victoria and Lynn, the office manager were completely unhelpful and unprofessional. The office smelled terrible and needs a lot of TLC. I would never go back or send anyone there.

dentist is a bit cold and makes you feel very uncomfortable. its hard enough to go to dentist but when they are not friendly its even harder.

Friendly & courteous staff with minimal wait time. I was able to get an appointment right away. Dr. Katechis treated me with gentle and quick care. Ive never been happier at the dentist. I would recommend this dentist!

I don't think I have ever felt more at ease in a dental office as I have @ Port Washington Dental Care...Dr. Tassos Katechis was by far the most gentle and caring dentist I have ever visited. I have such a phobia with any type of doctor, but Dr. Katechis talked me through my entire procedure, stopping whenever I need to ask a question...2 thumbs up for the doctor & his staff!!!
