Dr. Teresa Fong is a board certified pediatric dentist. For over 20 years, she has enjoyed providing pediatric dental care at Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates. Her greatest joy has been watching her patients grow up and getting to know their families. She also serves as a clinical faculty member in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
An active volunteer in the Twin Cities community, Dr. Fong serves as the Minnesota Oral Health Consultant for the Head Start Resource Center, helping to ensure that Head Start children have access to dental care and providing oral health education to the children and their families.
Dr. Fong also serves as the chair for the Minnesota Dental Association?s Children?s Health Committee. For ten consecutive years, Dr. Fong has co-chaired the Minneapolis District Dental Society?s ?Give Kids a Smile? Day at Sharing and Caring Hands in downtown Minneapolis. Recently, Dr. Fong has been a volunteer dentist for the Twin …Cities Mobile Dental Clinic in association with Medical Teams International.
Her non-dental volunteer efforts are focused on fundraising for the Courage Center, Habitat for Humanity, and the University of Minnesota. You can find her on Wednesday nights during the school year at Bethlehem Baptist Church teaching Kindergarten/First Grade Kids? Connection.
Dr. Fong enjoys spending her free time with her husband and teenage son. This includes involvement in school, soccer, Boy Scout Troop 124, YoungLife, St Paul Chamber Orchestra, Minnesota Opera, and theatre at the Ordway, Orpheum, and State Theatre.
