Dr. Thomas A Parmenter

This review is on behave of my sister. My sister went to Dr. Parmenter for a crown. Two months later she returned due to her the amount of pain she was experiencing with the new crown. Turns out the bonding agent used with the crown was not removed under her gum line and around the crown which caused the area to become infected, and sore. The Doctor had to set her up to have the area scrapped . My sister was given a shot to numb her for the procedure. That shot did not work. She was made to sit in pain to endure the whole horrifying experience. Shame on Dr. Parmenter. If that wasn't enough she was bill each time she returned to have the issue fixed. It is dentist like Dr. Parmenter that gives dentist a bad name. Experiences like this is the reason people are afraid to visit the dentist regularly and after all of this, My sister had to go back for a third time have x-rays and she still had bounding agent under her gums. She is terrified to go back. This is ridiculous.

Being housed in a dilapidated building should've clued me in as to what kind of dentist this was...I was welcomed with rude and untrained staff, then was pushed onto an unprofessional and lazy dentist. He is obviously way past the retirement age, so I'm not sure why he's still practicing...I guess it's good that he is, though, because his staff couldn't get jobs anywhere else.
