Dr. Timothy Reed Herre

Dr. Tim joined his dad, Craig Herre, DDS, and uncle, Scott Herre, DDS, in the practice of dentistry upon graduation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry. Dr. Tim, a St. Thomas Aquinas High School alumnus, grew up in Leawood and is no stranger to the family practice. A self-proclaimed "people person," Dr. Tim enjoys reconnecting with long-time patients, as well as meeting new patients and cultivating life-long relationships. He looks forward to bringing a new generation of patients to the family’s dental practice.
"My passion for bringing bigger, brighter smiles to life in Kansas City is inspired by a 55-year legacy of high quality dental health care that started with my grandfather, Dr. Bill, in 1953," says Dr. Tim. "Dentistry provides an opportunity to merge two of my favorite disciplines – art and science."
After graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Dr. Tim attended Loyola University of Chicago, graduating cum laude with honors with a …Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. His memberships include the American Dental Association, Kansas Dental Association, Fifth District Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Sports Dentistry.He is actively involved in TeamSmile, an NFL-sponsored program that brings dental care to underserved children and youth.
When he’s not busy greeting, meeting and treating patients, Dr. Tim is hard to keep up with. He loves to travel, but you’re most likely to find him on the golf course. He enjoys traveling and cheering for the Royals, Jayhawks and Cubs. On quieter days, you may catch him training for a triathlon or planting and pruning his Prairie Village garden. Dr. Tim recently welcomed a new addition to his home, a yellow Labrador puppy named Dunkin, which has kept him plenty busy.
"I look forward to becoming a life-long student of dentistry – an approach that will ensure patients always have access to the latest and most advanced dental treatments," says Dr. Tim.
