Dr. Timothy J Molloy, DDS

Tim Molloy, D.D.S. 
I’m Tim Molloy. If you don’t already know me let me get you up to speed. I grew up in the Bay Area and left only briefly to attend Texas Christian University. While at TCU I earned my B.S. in Biology and considered for a brief while to go into research. After graduating I was accepted to the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. While being immersed in the study of dentistry at UTDB I was continually distracted by a particular dental hygiene student named Debby Kehrer. Debby obviously found me useful for something as she would bring a shoebox full of instruments for me to sharpen. Having proven my worth to her, she decided to marry me.
Debby helped me set up our first office and acted as hygienist, assistant and office manager. Before we could get too used to our new roles we had our first daughter Megan, followed by Meredith, KK, and Madeline. I found myself in what I lovingly call “The House of Women”. Just to add some finality to it they decided …to get a cute little west highland terrior—you guessed it another female—named Marley.
In my spare time I go to the office to be “Dr. Molloy”. I am very proud of my professional life and feel truly fortunate to have been able to study under some of the best clinicians in dentistry. Some of the highlights of my training have been to participate in a two year orthodontic program working with Dr. Ron Austen with the AGpO. I have also had the opportunity to study with Dr. Bill Dickerson and Dr. Clayton Chan at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. During the last few years I have attained the highest clinical continuum at LVI, something that only a handful of dentists in North America have done, but more importantly, at LVI I learned how dentistry could change people’s lives. I have received great satisfaction watching patients look in a mirror with tears in their eyes because they finally have a smile that they have dreamed about. This is truly a powerful experience.
