Dr Vanita Mudgil received her Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry. She then went on to complete an additional one year General Practice Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital before commencing her specialty training. After an additional three years at New York University, she obtained her diplomate status in periodontics. She is one of a few board certified Periodontists and uses her expertise to enhance each individual smile. She is compassionate and caring. She also dedicates her time teaching new dentists at Lutheran Medical Center. Dr. Mudgil is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, Northeastern Society of Periodontics, American Dental Association, New York State Dental Association and the New York County Dental Society.

I am extremely happy with the work Dr. Mudgil performs. I have had multiple extractions and implants. She is extremely friendly, smart and takes all the time to explain everything and answer all questions. You can tell she is truly concerned and cares for her patients from consultation to post op. I would highly recommend Dr. Mudgil if you need high end periodontal work.

Excellent staff and doctor. Dr. Mudgil performed the cleaning and reviewed the xrays with me. They have a screen in front of you so you can see everything that is going on. They even offered to put netflix on for me while they xrayed and cleaned my teeth. State of the art facility, clean and no wait time. Dr. Mudgil was friendly. Even coming in to introduce herself before her assistant performed the xrays and then returned to review the xrays and clean my teeth.

Very professional caring doctor. Surgical treatment was painless and so much better than expected. I practically had no post treatment swelling or pain. Was able to eat and function immediately. Great experience, would definitely recommend to others.

I really can't recommend Dr. Mudgil highly enough. She is an amazing dentist. She is extremely kind and compassionate. She explains what she is going to do step by step. She has always made me feel comfortable and welcome.

I can honestly say that my experience with Dr. Mudgil was a wonderful one. I came in with some discomfort coming from my wisdom tooth. There was no wait time. When I was told I needed it taken out, I was very nervous because I have not needed any dental work as of yet; I'm 23. The procedure was quick and painless, and I would recommend her to my friends and family. No less than a 10/10!

Dr. Mudgil is great! She did an implant for me a few years ago and was gentle and kind. Referred my husband to her..... she extracted a tooth and did some bone grafting. Great experience and very professional!

I had very bad gum disease and was very afraid. She made my visit very comfortable and my gums are very healthy now. I would recommend her to all my friends for sure.

Dr Mudgil was amazing!!! I was petrified and she made me feel at ease throughout the entire procedure. She did surgery on me and it was totally pain free!! Dr Mudgil is the bomb!!!

Dr. Mudgil did a phenomenal job on my implant. Not only was she gentle but she made me feel very comfortable by talking to me throughout the procedure about everyday life and checking in to make sure I was doing ok. I felt no pain during or after the implant and I am so grateful to have had her for my first experience in implant work and I can not wait to do my other implant with her ! She's amazing :)
