Dr. Robert Scott Schaedel, MD

I found Dr.Schaedel to be empathic, nurturing and super kind. He called post op to check in on me, how nice is that? I hd no swelling or pain after surgery.

I came to Dr Schaedel on a referral from my dentist after a fall where I got a hairline fracture in my jaw. Bottom line, after seeing me for 3 months and no treatment other then removing 2 teeth he told me I had a serious infection that would require major surgery and a bone graft from my hip. Told me he didn't do that and referred me to a doctor who would not return my or his offices call. I found a oral surgeon who is chief of staff at a local hospital who tried to get in touch with Dr Schaedel and he never retuned his call. Now after 20k in surgery, Ortopedic Dr hip graft, radiology, hospital costs and 5 weeks of having my jaw wired I'm on my way to recovery. By the way I never received any calls / letters from Dr Schaedel's office to follow up, nice touch !

I recently had all four of my deeply impacted wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Schaedel. Tooth extractions are inevitably excruciating post-op no matter who the doctor is; but what stuck out to me about Schaedal was that I had absolutely no swelling after surgery. Everyone I know has been shocked that I just had that surgery, considering the "chipmunk" cheeks are usually a week long normality after most wisdom teeth extractions; but not mine! He did a great job. He's also incredibly well-mannered and supportive both pre and post-op. Very nice guy
