Dr. Chari Hirshson, PhD

I began my visits with Dr Chari Hirshson at Chappaqua Crossings in Chappaqua NY, affiliated with the Northern Westchester Hospital. The doctor and her receptionist were unorganized, they made me come in for a visit then reschedule because they had dates mixed up with other patients numerous times. She was also very detached, unempathetic and often condescending when discussing my medical issues. Very judgmental(e.g. I married early and had children) She was often late to see me and never apologized. 1hour over. While having evaluations with her character was rude, abrupt, insensitive and condescending. She denied treatments and gave false reports regarding the visits. Her main conversation was that my insurance doesn't pay her much. This is an Insurance in which she claim to have accepted. Her primary concern was money. My experience with her was unprofessional, inappropriate. Dr Chari Hirshon often made unfavorable comments about my clothes, shoes and the kind of car I drove etc. I… would leave her office feeling worse and insecure about my conditions overall. Not recommended, I have told only my other doctors. They were disappointed and shocked. She told me although my insurance is accepted that they are problamatic because they pay "not well" and suggested that I join a practice that charges less. Checked with Insurer, they confirmed her voluntary sign up with them and their payments to her were consistent and prompt. No care in her persona, just dishonesty, money hungry , unprofessional, unmotivated and disrespectful. Highly dissapointed.
