Dr. Adam David Perler, MD

Laid up in pain for 6 wks. Took off the dressing and stated he did not like his work. Wanted to go back in and "tweak" the surgery. 6 MORE WKS LAID UP. My foot looked like NOTHING had been done to improve my foot. Could not take more time off work and pay for another surgery. BEWARE!!!

Outstanding foot surgeon - hard to find anyone more experienced or thoughtful than Dr Perler - you will get the best care!

I had MVA in 2020, had severe fractures in both ankles, and lost my ability to walk. I knew that ankle replacement could be done and saw several orthopedic surgeons to do it. But no one was sure about this surgery. Dr. A. Perler was sure, and he did it. Now I can walk again. I am glad that I found Dr. Perler. He is a skillful surgeon with a pleasant personality, always ready to discuss everything you need to know about ankle replacement. Also, I would like to admit that Physical Therapist Laura W. helped me with rehabilitation and learning how to walk again. She is a wonderful physical therapist and person. I am still recovering and under the care of a physical therapist. I had one ankle replacement surgery six months ago and am now thinking about a second ankle replacement. I will discuss it with Dr. Perler in a few months. I want to attend this practice because I know I will be helped!

was carefully listened to and understood in the course of my 9 months seeing him, and most importantly, in his care my foot issues have gotten a lot better. I especially appreciate how cutting edge his knowledge is because that makes him highly resourceful in considering a variety of options for achieving the desired result. I've seen 3 podiatrists in my life and Dr. Perler is, hands down, the best one. He made me feel both comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. And as an added plus, the staff in his office are very professional and easy to work with.

Dr. Perler was a second opinion, actually a 3rd opinion. I had received 2 opinions from another Orthopaedic office one doctor that did first surgery wanted to repin the toe, 2nd doctor gave me 2 options #1 remove the toe #2 was fuse the 2nd & 3rd toe together. I was thinking I don’t think so. So I called my insurance company they had me contact Dr. Alexander‘s office. SeenDr. Perler “SO HAPPY I DID” Dr. Perler is so kind, great bedside manner & great since of humor. Staff very kind and understanding/helpful. It’s only been one week and was back for follow up appointment everything looks great. I have more work to be done and Dr. Perler will be the one to do it. I highly recommend Dr. Perler and his staff.

An outstand orthopedic surgeon who worked on both my splintered legs and shattered ancles. Dr. Perler practices under the Alexander Orthopedic Association. He is not only a great knowagable surgeon, he is down to earth, personable and extreamly caring. As an example, the result has given me the ability to walk again which is remarkable based on the damage to my legs. He also visited me at 9pm on a Friday night after going out to dinner with his family and with them waiting in his car. He spent ablut 45 minutes with me just to see how I was doing and to let me know he had a peer to peer discussion with my insurance comapny who was trying to discharge me against his direction. I don't know of another surgeon that would personally go to that extreme to take care of a patient. A great surgeon, one who is personable, caring and an overall just a great individual.

I saw Dr. Perler for Achilles tendonitis due to a rupture. He inherited my case. I wish I went with him at the very beginning. He is very knowledgeable and cares about his patients. The only thing is he moved to Flordia and I live in Indiana. If insurance would pay I would travel to Flordia to continue my care. He is the best.

Dr. Perler is skilled, caring and goes the extra mile for his patients. He has improved my quality of life tremendously.

I had debilitating ankle arthritis from an old injury. I was unable to do anything. I had seen several doctors over the years who talked to me about having my ankle fused. I didn't want that. I was referred to Dr. Perler for a second opinion and he felt I was a really good candidate for an ankle replacement. I didn't even know this was an option. It was obvious that he has a lot of experience with ankle replacements and helped me choose which system was the best for me. I felt really comfortable with his guidance. I had the surgery about a year ago and I am back to doing what used to love to do. So glad I went this direction as it has been totally worth it... and now I have my life back.

Super happy with my experience with Dr. Perler. Had a very complex problem that required a major surgery to reposition my foot after a longstanding deformity. Dr. Perler and his staff were amazing and I am really happy with my outcome.
