A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Mays earned her bachelor’s degree from University of Memphis Loewenberg School of Nursing. She followed that with a Master of Science in Nursing as a pediatric nurse practitioner from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Mays is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board since 2016.
Mays is married to Zach and they have two sons, Myles and Davis. Her family enjoys being outside, watching sports, being with friends and weekend trips. Mays also loves to read and almost always has a book in progress.
