He backpacked through India to provide health services in rural centers and gained valuable experience repairing severe burns, cleft palates, and other genetic abnormalities in Bucaramanga, Colombia.Dr. Stehr grew up in the Bay Area of California where he developed a love for competitive sailing and exploring the outdoors as an Eagle Scout. He enjoys hiking and taking daily walks with his wife and German Shepherd. Dr. Stehr is an avid traveler, skier, snowboarder, and advanced open water scuba diver.
