Incompetent and cruel. Terrible experience unqualified provider

I cannot dignify her name with doctor. Despite her writing out every symptom of the effects of venous retrograde pressure from an occluded iliac vein in the ehr, she was dismissive and especially cruel. I ended up at mount Sinai with multiple dvts and occlusions at the right iliac, undergoing angiojet surgery as an in patient a week later.

Dr Teter saved my husband's foot from amputation where other doctors said it was the only solution. Highly recommend.

Despite testing in hand of newfound 70% stenosis In common iliac and external iliac this provider, in NYU ER stated “patient will not be helped by vascular intervention”. I was operated on emergently at Mount Sinai within 36 hours. I hope this happens to this provider. Her cruelty and incompetence are matched only by her arrogance. I simply wanted an apology. At this point I will file complaints with the medical board. This level of despicable care should be a cautionary tale about Dr tester.

I’m still wondering how a vascular surgeon can miss bilateral acute DVTs in both the iliac and subclavian veins. 4! after her incorrect and untrained medical note(despite testing in hand, showing 70% stenosis in all four major veins) I was admitted another nyc hospital and had emergency emergency surgery within 24 hrs. She is not ready for prime time. My dog is a better diagnostician. Covid times did you a disservice. Because you have no experience because of Covid times, teter doesnt know what she’s talking about. Even if she was unsure, she could’ve been kind but she was a (expletive deleted)

Dr teter had no idea that iliac veins get acute dvts nor did she glance at the testing showing severe stenosis of subclavian and iliac veins. Her lack of experience forced surgeons from mount Sinai to operate emergently after ER discharge because she didn’t know what was going on. If one is in enough pain to go to the ER and the consultant Dr takes…4 hours, and then denies the venogram from 5 days ago(70% stenosis became dvts) she’s a flat earther whose decisions are not to be trusted. Poor excuse for a doctor whose specialty was there for the stent placing and repair but could not read the test or just didn’t care enough.

Caring and knowledgeable. She listened to me and answered all my questions. Surgery went very well! Would strongly recommend. Office staff very friendly also.

inexperienced. healthcare shortage unleashed under trained drs. glad i knew enough to find a better one. minimized issues despite concrete imaging showing issues. i almost died but happily did not when treated by an experienced vascular surgeon. poor experience, undertrained dr. poor hospital at this time. used to be great.
