Dr. Justin Edwin Fang, MD

If I could give Justin Fang and Chesapeake Urology zero stars I would. Don't expect good - or even any - communication from this practice. I have called and asked for a doctor to call me back regarding my elderly mother's care on several occasions and no one did. I even called for advice on whether to take her to the ER and when I finally received a call back (from office staff, not the doctor) 2 days later I was already sitting in the ER waiting for her to be evaluated. Justin Fang told me he received my original message 1.5 days after I called but didn't bother calling me back personally until Monday evening, 5 days after I called. Instead of trying to understand my mother's situation and discuss next steps, he threw the call center and office staff under the bus and told me they have to do better...that I wasn't the first person to complain about not getting calls back. When I pointed out that he didn't do any better, he said nothing. My mom can't be treated with silence. She needs… a real doctor who will respond when she is sick.

This doctor placed stent in Shady Grove hospital, then I called his office for fallow up and asked them to call me back, they said it will take 24 to 48 hours, but they called me back on 12 day. I'm still not feeling normal with stent, blood in urine, pain every time I urinate, and I need surgery date, but they never bother to call me back for 12 days. I call 4 time, then I decided to go with different doctor to remove my kidney store. I feel so bad of this doctor and shady grove hospital as well.
