Do not use this facility if you are in pain, they have no emergency appointments. I was left in a freezing cold room for an hour pre op. The window was open when they brought me in. I gave them strict instructions for the IV because I have reynauds and they were not followed at all. Three people were informed to not shake me or yell to wake me up because I had traumatic experiences previously. A good nurse knows enough to listen to their patients, no one did that. They literally did everything I asked them not to do. I woke up crying and shaking from shock from being triggered. I was also offered an earlier surgery date and not 10 minutes later a rude woman calls me back to inform me the surgeon has a family emergency tomorrow and they’re canceling all his appointments. Ive been suffering for weeks and for that woman to crudely let me know I wont be getting the emergent medical attention I need was absolutely brutal. So appreciative of the care I received from the doctors and staff at Lane Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I delayed a necessary procedure after having a tooth pulled elsewhere several years ago. I finally decided to have the work done and chose LOMS due to their excellent reputation and had a totally different experience. Dr. Will Lane removed my tooth and Dr. Bill Lane placed my implant. I was awake and alert through the entire procedure and it all went quickly and… pain free! It has been over two weeks since the procedure and recovery has gone just as well. I’ve reflected on why this experience was so different from my last and decided it has a lot to do with their professionalism but everything to do with their kind and caring attitude. I highly recommend this practice. Oh, almost forgot to mention my reservations in having oral surgery during the pandemic. Turned out there was no need for concern. I was greeted at the door and was taken directly back to an examining… room, then to x-ray, and on to another room for the surgery. Never crossed paths with another patient the entire time and the facility was immaculate.

My dentist assigned me to Dr Lane for immediate tooth extraction. After a week of back and forth Dr Lanes office still could not fit me in under emergency situation. Their standard comment is we are booked for a week, will see you for initial diagnosis in a week. Tooth turned into absessed tooth, face size baseball, Hyannis ER sent my by ambulance to Tufts in Boston in treatment. Would think an oral surgeon would be able to find time for an emergency situation when the patient was referred by primary dentist for at once extraction.. Front Desk was not sensitive to my emergency situation at all.. Never been treated like that by any doctor's office. Thanks Jeff
