May 1, 2026 1st & last visit with Dr. Brice. I came in 30 mins early. The nurse couldn't access my medical records at Mercy for some reason so she started manually entering everything. She was so slow that Dr Brice came in mad and the nurse ran out. Dr Brice started yelling at me (You used up all my time I had for you). She read what ever the nurse wrote and started questioning the medications I had tried but had bad reactions too. Dr Brice proceeded by using professional phrases to say she didn't believe me & I was lying: (I don't believe that, That can't happen, Explain to me how that could happen, Make me understand, ect.). The Dr Brice then yelled at me for my PCP's referral, saying (This referral says Uncontrolled Hypertension, doesn't your doctor even know what that is?) Dr Brice proceeded to explain what it was and I didn't have it. At this point it was obvious Dr Brice felt my visit was a waist of her time. I stood up & said OK, .Thank you. Dr Brice abruptly said, OK, since you… like researching, I'm going to give you the names of 3 drugs, they are old drugs we don't use anymore because they have bad side effects. Then I want you to come back in 30 days and tell me which one you want to take. Dr Brice got up and left. By the time I got to the front desk I was so upset I started crying, got my paperwork and left. I drove home and cancelled my next appointment. The actual rating I would give Dr Brice is a Neg.-5.
