I feel ill about how much I spent on foot surgery with this doctor. I felt rushed and not listened to during my initial and subsequent visits. I felt like he had one foot out the door on all my visits while I still had questions to ask. I had intermittent excruciating pain in one toe that I was sure was nerve pain, but Dr. Juris talked me into expensive surgery on two toes. I was unable to walk for a few weeks. Thousands of dollars later, I still have the intermittent pain in that toe. Dr. Juris also ordered an ultrasound of my foot which found two Morton's neuromas, in the ball of my foot near the affected toe. I have learned that a Morton's neuroma can radiate pain into nearby toes. When I went back for a follow up and told him that my primary care physician agreed that it sounded like nerve pain, he responded, "Who is a foot specialist? Me or your PCP?" I found him arrogant, impersonal and unsympathetic, and the practice seemed to be a surgery factory, with nearly all the patients… in the waiting room in a surgical boot, on crutches or both.

I saw Dr. Juris several months ago for Tarsal Tunnel. He spent about three minutes with me and when I told him about my pain he told me there was no need to discuss pain because everyone experiences pain differently. He said my diagnosis was tarsal tunnel and the treatment was orthotics. When I picked up my orthotics I asked the technician about whether I should be doing any foot exercises or stretches. He went to Dr Juris to ask. Dr Juris gave a big eye roll at the question and that’s when I knew I would never go back there. Unfortunately, I wasted several months without appropriate treatment...but then found a new Dr who is treating me appropriately.

I just spent $70 for 3 needless X-Rays and literally 10 minutes with the doctor. He provided me with a referral to a doctor for routine foot care and another doctor to look at my issues that require more expertise. Huh? What exactly does that leave. I recently moved, prior to the move I had been going to a podiatrist for a decade who was capable of routine care and surgical intervention. Silly me thinking all podiatrists worked on all aspects of footcare. I recommend only seeing Juris if you have a unremarkable bunion otherwise save your money.

Dr. Juris performed two bunion surgeries on me within a couple months of each other. He was extremely kind and listened to all my questions and concerns. The entire surgical process was extremely thorough and calm (even though my nerves were high). He was there along with 4 other nurses and doctors to make me as comfortable as possible and answer all questions before the procedure. Dr. Juris did an incredible job with the surgeries. My healing was extremely quick. I was so apprehensive to do the surgeries because of the recovery, however with the instructions he gives you, if you follow them well, the healing process was easy and pretty pain free. I highly recommend Dr. Juris if anyone is looking to have their feet looked at and worked on. Thank you Dr. Juris

Dr. Juris performed bunion surgery on me a number of years ago and I was extremely pleased with the results. I have recently been experiencing some foot pain and I made an appointment to see Dr. Juris. He lilstened to me and explained to me what was happening and suggested I wear an orthotic. Best advice I've had!! Since wearing this device my foot pain has disappeared and I am walking much better. Thank you Dr. Juris!

I went to Dr Juris with foot pain. I had already had an X-ray but had to have another. He told me where my pain was seeming to have already diagnosed my pain. He told me I had arthritis, recommended orthotics that costed me well over $300., also a “boot” to wear at night, also out of pocket. After months of no relief from the pain I got a second opinion. Seems I have very little arthritis. The problem was a nerve. After two treatments the pain is gone. Seven months of pain could have been avoided if he had listened to me. I felt rushed and not heard. I would never go back.

I recently meet Dr. Juris due a consultation for a foot problem. I found Dr. Juris to be very pleasant and professional, carefully taking his time to explain and to make sure I understood the problem with my foot as well as the surgical treatment needed to repair it. At my pre surgical appointment he explained step by step what I would need to do before surgery, what to expect the day of surgery and what to expect for healing and recovery. The conversation was very relaxed and unrushed. His goal was clear that he wanted me to be well informed with good understanding. The day of the surgery he again carefully went over the surgery explaining what to expect making sure I understood the procedure and recovery. He was willing to answer any questions I may have had and asked if I had any problems or concerns. The surgical staff was top notch, very pleasant and knowledgeable. My surgery went wonderfully. I’ve had little to no pain, my recovery has been faster and smoother then… I could have expected. Dr. Juris called me personally at home to ask how I doing and if I was having any problems or concerns. I cannot express enough positive remarks to reflect how pleased I am with the care, skill, knowledge and professionalism shown by Dr. Juris. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would definitely give him a 10.
