Dr. Lina Husienzad is a New Jersey native who graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. Upon graduating medical school she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Lankenau Medical Center and her Dermatology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC). While at UPMC she served as a leader of the Cosmetics Committee, and spearheaded a multitude of workshops for residents training in cosmetic procedures. She also participated in research projects during residency and wrote multiple chapters for a cutaneous lymphoma textbook, which she coauthored with the director of the Cutaneous Lymphoma Program at UPMC. She thrives in leadership roles, particularly those that empower female physicians, and serves on the Events Committee and the Residents, Fellows, and Young Physicians Committee in the Women's Dermatologic Society.

In her spare time Dr. Husienzad enjoys traveling, yoga, learning new languages, cooking, and spending time with family.
