Dr. Anand Tarpara, MD

My husband of 31 years found himself in trouble and I rushed him to Honor Health Hospital. Dr Tarpara seen him in the emergency room that day. After several tests and research of my husbands past vascular surgeries, he determined the need to apply a fix for the reoccurring problem of blockage and scheduled for surgery the following day. His experience let us know that he wanted to have the best team helping him during the surgery and wanted to go in with a plan to complete the fix the first time in. The surgery was much longer than anyone had expected and they kept me informed ever so often. Dr. Tarpara and the team that day did more than anyone could expect, not taking a break during the extensive time in the surgery and not leaving the task half complete. His plan had included an option should the initial thought not be available once in the area. He was aware of complications he could face with the amount of scar tissue he had to deal with. Dr. Tarpara was always concerned that my… husband was treated well, cared for well and did every thing and more to assure he got just that. He told me he treats patients like family and expects others caring for afterwards to do the same. It was very comforting to know that he felt as such. I believe Dr Tarpara is deeply concerned for his patience well being and quality of life those patients have or will have after evaluation and solutions he brings to them. I am very glad that he is so concerned after surgery to make several personal visits to assure care he is being given properly during the stay in hospital.
